1. Why is my Yellow™ advertising now billed on a Yellow bill?
From the 1st of November we transitioned to our own billing system. From now on your bill for Yellow™ products (which includes White pages®, Yellow Local®, New Zealand tourism guide™ and Grownups™) will come straight from Yellow. Formerly you were billed for your Yellow advertising through the Telecom bill.
2. Why am I getting a bill from both Telecom and Yellow™ for
Yellow advertising?
Any instalments you may have been paying for advertising prior to November will still be included in your Telecom bill. If this applies to you, don't be concerned if you get both a Yellow and a Telecom bill in the mail. This will only last until the instalments have been paid off.
3. How can I pay my Yellow™ bill?
The best way to pay is via Direct Debit. To set up Direct Debit for future payments, just fill in the new Direct Debit form which you can print from here.
You'll have to choose a different option for your first payment though,
so here are your choices:
Cheque:
Make your cheque out to Yellow Pages Group Ltd and return it with the payment
slip to Yellow Pages Group, PO Box 17345, Greenlane, Auckland 1546.
Internet Banking:
Pay directly online into our ANZ bank account (01-0242-0100194-00) and quote
your Yellow account number.
Cash:
Go into any ANZ branch with your payment slip and pay directly to the teller.
4. Can I pay by Credit Card?
We accept credit cards for one-off payments only. To use the credit cards listed below to pay your Yellow bill, click here.
Credit card fees
Your credit card company will charge a fee for one-off payments of your Yellow account. The fee is a percentage of the total amount paid and will appear as a separate transaction on your credit card statement as a "convenience fee".
Different companies have different fee rates that are subject to change.
- Visa and MasterCard - 2.5%
We do not receive any of this additional fee but will advise you that a fee (and the amount, subject to change) applies when you make a one-off payment.
5. What if I have a query with my Yellow™ bill?
Please contact us as soon as possible via the contact form.
6. Where can I get an Automatic Payment Form?
You can download one here. You can set up a nominated amount to be paid from your bank account to Yellow weekly, fortnightly or monthly. If your account is under paid a top up payment will need to be made each month to avoid any late payment
fee or interest.
7. What if my bill is overdue?
Yellow charges a late payment fee to help recover the cost of late payments. The $7.50 fee applies to residential customers with overdue bills. The fee for business customers is $7.50 or 1.66% of the outstanding bill, whichever is the greater amount.
Yellow has a large number of customers and while most of them pay their bills on time, those that pay late represent a significant cost to Yellow. The charge will only apply to customers who pay late. No fee will apply if a customer has a genuine dispute with Yellow. A great way to avoid a late payment fee is by paying your account via a Direct debit.
8. How do I get my account name or address corrected?
