Yellow Art Awards supporting regional communities

The Yellow Art Awards is a nationwide competition which allows emerging and established artists the opportunity to feature on the front cover of their regional White pages®.

In 2008, we made some enhancements to the art awards programme so that regional communities as well as artists benefit from the programme.

We are putting the money raised from the Yellow™ Art Awards back into the regions where the finalists reside.

Our independent panel of judges will select three finalists from each region. The public is asked to vote on for the artwork they would like to see on the White pages front cover via the Art Awards website.

The first place winner receives $2,000; first runner up receives $1,000 and the second runner up receives $500.

The winning artwork, along with the first and second runners up, will be auctioned at the annual Yellow Art Awards Charity Auction.

All of the money raised will go towards the new Yellow Foundation Charitable Trust who will distribute funds to local regional projects or charities.

Yellow staff and the general public are asked to nominate a special community project or charity in each region. From these submissions, the Trust will select one project which will benefit following this year's Yellow Art Awards auction.

The winning artist and their artwork is revealed when the regional White pages is delivered.
